Women experience depression at much higher rates than men. This gender disparity may be explained by a number of social, biological and hormonal factors that are specific to women.

1.PREMENSTRUAL PROBLEMS-Hormonal fuctuations during the menstrual cycle may lead to depression.

2.PREGNANCY AND INFERTILITY-Many hormonal changes that occur during pregnacy can contribute to depression as miscarriage, unwanted pregnancy and infertility.

3.PPSTPARTUM DEPRESSION-It is not uncommon for new mothers  to experience the "baby blues".This condition is influenced by the hormonal fluctuations.

4.MENOPAUSE AND PERIMENOPAUSE-Women may be increased risk for depression during perimenopause leading to menopause when reproductive hormone rapidly fluctuate.

And there are many more but just choose to write about this ones which separates men from women.

  3. I feel like men are the ones suffering most, but they normally don't show it. That is why we have lots of men around the streets who are mentally ill.
